A word from the founder

For twenty years I have worked between two worlds: the global GRC frameworks that shape how organisations are expected to govern themselves, and the day-to-day reality of practitioners across the Middle East and North Africa. The distance between the two is where good intentions get lost.

The MENA GRC Community was founded to close that distance. Not with theory, and not behind a paywall — with practical, bilingual material that a practitioner can open on a Sunday morning and use in a meeting the same week.

What we believe

GRC does not own the decision. Its work is to create the conditions in which a strategic intention can become realised value: shared information, connected roles, collaborative execution, and timing that arrives while the decision can still be shaped. When those four conditions hold, GRC stops being a checkpoint and becomes the orchestrator of the value ecosystem.

What we publish

Every week the community explores one question with practitioners across the region, then publishes what we learned: a short article, the community poll results, and — where it helps — a tool you can use. Everything is free to read and download, in English and Arabic, with no email gate.

This is not one person's work

The Expert Panel Decision Committee brings twelve practitioners together to create, review, translate and advise. Their names, disciplines and countries are on the panel page — the credibility of what we publish belongs to them.
